Process implementation made easy

This overview sets out the four phases of the process, complete with detailed steps: broken down into very small parts to ensure nothing is overlooked during implementation and to take into account the diverse circumstances of different schools (size, team composition).

The process invites you to pick out the points that are important to you and to tailor the approach to your school. It is not essential to carry out absolutely every step; you should simply follow the order to ensure continuity.

The six milestones are highlighted in the diagram to help guide you and enable you to regularly review the project’s progress – a chance to pause, take a breath and prepare for the next step, the next phase.

Manageable steps along the way

There is a milestone at the start and end of each phase of the process: From the final decision to implement the process for democratic empowerment in your own school (=Milestone 1), through the initial assessment (completion of the coACTION Sensor – Milestone 3), to the summary (final report – Milestone 6), the milestones help you tick off the project one step at a time.
